Abstract

1425458 Conveyer systems GEO W KING Ltd 28 March 1974 [11 Jan 1973] 46976/72 Heading B7L In a power-and-free conveyer system having a track 12 formed by parallel first and second channel-form parts 20 which are spaced apart with their mouths facing one another, a trolley 10 comprises first and second frame members 26 and 27 on each of which is mounted respective support wheels 21 and 22 to run on a respective track part 20, and connecting means (including nut and bolt devices 28, 36 and pin and circlip devices at 40) readily releasably interconnecting the frame members 26, 27 so that, following release of the connecting means, each frame member may be removed from the track together with its associated wheels in generally a direction of the width of the channel mouths. In dismantling the trolley, firstly a driving dog 18, proximity lever 35 for displacing the dog 18, holdback dog 19 and remaining connections between members 26, and 27 are removed, and then one member 26 is displaced along the track to space it from member 27 before each is removed. The trolley may be re-mounted in the track by a reversal of the above procedure. As well as its support wheels 21, 22, each member 26, 27 carries a respective guide wheel 23 or 24 which is accommodated in recesses 42, 44 in each frame member.
