1422771 Vehicle lamps W A PHILIPS and E J TEBBUTT 1 Jan 1973 [30 Sept 1971 11 Nov 1971] 45508/71 and 52456/71 Heading F4R A rear lamp system for road vehicles comprises two lamps mounted at spaced apart locations on the rear of the vehicle and each adapted to emit a beam of red light, the beams being so directed that, when the vehicle is on a level stretch of road, they converge at a point on the road surface a predetermined distance behind the vehicle to produce a red spot.
