Abstract

142,273. Gaillault, A. O. E. April 15, 1919. Receiving and delivery devices for doors and the like.-A wicket door chiefly for use on the doors of hotel chambers comprises a small door a hinged to a frame b on the outside of the door panel, a key for which is in the possession of some authorized person. A hinged flap c, which can fold into the horizontal position on the inside, is carried on a rod e in a frame b<1> flush with the panel and opposite the door a. Boots &c. are deposited on the flap c and may be removed through the door a. A spring of sufficient strength to close the flap when unweighted is provided on the pivot e. In a modification, a double hinged flap g, h is provided opening as shown in Fig. 9, and forming a closed well, the top and sides of which are formed of a curtain m.
