Rotary cylindrical valves.-A drain-cock for liquid-retainers, such as automobile radiators, comprises a cylindrical casing 5 secured in the bottom of the container, and an inner cylindrical tubular plug 15, both formed with apertures near the bottom of the vessel and secured together by a screw 10, as shown. The inner tube is formed with an enlarged head 8 held up against the bottom of the vessel by the screw 10. The lower end of the tube 15 is also fitted with an operating-handle 18.
