1422426 Securing compressor rotors on shafts NOEL PENNY TURBINES Ltd 26 April 1974 [22 June 1973] 29753/73 Heading F2U A compressor rotor 1 has a solid hub and integral stub shaft 2 which makes an interference fit with a socket 3 of a drive shaft 4, a fluid supply port 5 being provided so that the socket can be expanded to facilitate assembly and separation of the parts. The stub shaft may be conical or cylindrical.
