Abstract

1420617 Electric circuit-breakers SCHUTZAPPARATE-GES PARIS & CO mbH KG 19 Dec 1972 [21 Dec 1971] 58469/72 Heading H1N [Also in Division H2] A circuit-breaker trip device has three trip units, two of which have permanent magnets opposed to each other and retaining respective armatures 4,6 and 4,5 and the third is arranged to attract its armature. The armatures act on a trip lock 5 in response to current in their windings which are all in series and supplied from the secondary of a core-balance transformer 1, or in response to current in a common coil which may be the secondary of a core balance transformer (Fig. 2, not shown) or in response to the flux in a common core surrounded by windings in the protected circuit.
