Abstract

141,811. Lynde, F. G. Jan. 21, 1919. Addition to 120.825. Concrete buildings, slab-type.-Hexagonal cellular structures are constructed with staggered horizontal joints as described in the parent Specification, by means of slabs with edges so shaped that two placed together make a recess for a third slab, Fig. 5. The edges of the slabs are bevelled at angles of 120 degrees, and preferably formed with one or more recesses 4 into which concrete is filled by means of shuttering 5 held in place by wires passing through holes 7 in the slabs. In a modification, the edges of the slabs are bevelled in a direction opposite to that shown in Fig. 4, and keys, with a filling of cement, inserted in the recesses.
