Abstract

1418101 Modified polychloroprene compositions BP CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL Ltd 12 Dec 1973 [15 Jan 1973] 1987/73 Heading C3P A dialkyl polysulphide is incorporated into a sulphur/xanthogen modified polychloroprene composition in order to improve the flex-crack resistance thereof. The polysulphide may be added to the latex immediately after its preparation, or may be dry-blended with the isolated rubber. The use of a ditertiary nonyl- and a ditertiary octyl polysulphide is exemplified.
