1416907 Yarn feed; yarn supply; shuttleless looms BONAS MACHINE CO LTD 8 Feb 1974 [9 Feb 1973] 6629/73 Headings DID and D1E In a strand feed device, Fig. 1, discs 10, 11 mounted on shaft 15 and urged apart by spring 24 have opposed conical faces and interengaging projections 12 between which runs a loop of strand 26, Fig. 2. Disc 11 has screw 19 whose conical end 20 co-acts with conical shaft recess 22 to move the disc along the shaft to vary the loop diameter and hence the feed rate. Disc drive pin 21 slides in shaft slot 23. Circlips 25 limit disc movement.
