1370805 Beat-up devices VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO - ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT LEGKOGO I TEXTILNOGO MASHINOSTROENIA 10 Nov 1971 [17 Nov 1970] 52106/71 Heading D1E A beat-up device for a travelling wave loom comprising toothed discs 1 arranged on a shaft 5 so that the teeth 2, 3, 4 form helical surfaces for driving the shuttle 7 has shaft 5 supported in bearings 6 having a mechanism for moving the shuttle outside of the shed consisting of a housing 13 with annular grooves 14 in which rotate cams 15 having a profile which is a continuation of the helical surface so that the cams drive the shuttle across the gap between the fabrics. The web between the grooves 14 is interrupted to permit passage of the shuttle.
