1361312 Terry looms SULZER BROS Ltd 9 March 1972 [17 March 1971] 11038/72 Heading D1E In a Terry loom, means are provided between the fell and the take-up roller 24 for flattening the pile looms to prevent the fabric "creeping" weftwise across the take up roller. The means may comprise a rotary brush 28, or a rail (31) Fig. 3, (not shown) mounted on the breast beam (32) which may be reciprocated warpwise, or a roller (36) Fig. 4 (not shown) resting on pinch roller 25 and the breast beam (35). The brush, roller or rail may also be reciprocated transverse to the direction of movement of the fabric.
