Abstract
1465815 Weft selection in shuttleless looms NUOVO PIGNONE SpA 11 April 1974 [20 April 1973] 16344/74 Heading D1E In a shuttleless loom wefts from bobbins 1 pass through eyed guides 3 which are arranged in their inoperative positions at an inclined angle to the weft inserter movement but which move to an operative position e.g. B, B' such that each weft will lie at the same angle α to the direction of movement of the weft inserter. In order to bring each guide to the correct postion (defining the angle α) each drive lever 19, 20 for the guides is of a slightly different length depending on its distance from the fabric edge, and the line of guides is offset from the line of the fell to prevent entanglement.
