Abstract

1411395 Ventilators AR-VENTILATION AB 28 Sept 1972 [4 Oct 1971] 44854/72 Heading F4V [Also in Division G3] An air distributing device comprises a cylindrical housing 32 having a tangential inlet 34 and an axial outlet 36 and a flow regulating element arranged transverse to the axis of the housing 32 and radially displaceably mounted adjacent the outlet 36. In the form shown, the regulating element is a disc which may be perforate or imperforate and is also axially displaceable within the housing. In the position shown, the regulating element produces an air flow from the housing which is tangential to the cylindrical wall thereof. When moved to a position in contact with a flange 35, the regulating element produces a downward air flow. In other embodiments, the regulating element is mounted outside the housing adjacent the outlet 36.
