Abstract

886,623. Filters. C. A. V. Ltd. Sept. 2, 1960 [Sept. 7, 1959], No. 30429/59. Class 46. A filter assembly comprises a filter 3, as claimed in Specification 693,495, mounted within an annular cylindrical container 4 which is open at one end, and at its opposite end has an annular and outwardly dished end wall 5 in which are formed a plurality of angularly spaced holes 6. The container is sealed between a body 8, having a liquid inlet 9 and outlet 10, and a bowl 11 which has a plurality of radial webs 23. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the bowl has a drain plug 24 for removal of sediment without dismantling the assembly.
