Abstract

1409344 Dental stands KALTENBACH & VOIGT 29 June 1973 [8 Aug 1972] 31247/73 Heading A5R A dental unit comprises an upper part which is vertically adjustable with respect to a lower part 1, 2 and includes a slide 4 which is displaceable horizontally with respect to the remainder of the unit and supports a spittoon 3, the slide serving as a support for dental instruments. The slide may be vertically adjusted by means of parallelogram arms 17 connected by a cable 18 to a vertically adjustable part 20 of a patient's chair. The slide may also be rotatable in a horizontal plane. A rest 9 for dental instruments may be supported on an arm 12 slidable into the slide or an articulated arm connected to the slide. The spittoon 3 may be fixed to the slide or formed by a detachable funnel. Connections for electrical and suction apparatus and a further instrument table may be provided.
