Abstract
1407316 Iron base superalloy J F BALDWIN 2 Oct 1973 [11 July 1973] 46035/73 Heading C7A An iron base alloy which is at least partly austenitic of composition:- Cr21 to 28% Ni 14 to 20% W 4 to 14% optionally Mo replacing up to 50 atomic per cent of the W Fe and impurities balance. The alloy may be heat treated at 1500F to 1700F for at least 2 hours and air cooled and may be utilized in the turbine section of gas turbine engines.
