Abstract

140,486. Ohlson, O. Dec. 8, 1917, [Convention date]. Projectile fuses.-Retates to clock-work fuses of the kind in which thet clock-work is released at the moment of discharge by the set-back of an inertia locking-member, and consists in preventing the rebound of the locking-member by a mechanical interlocking produced by centrifugal force. In the form shown, a locking-bolt 13, Fig. 3. normally held up by grippers 20, is loosely mounted in its lower guide-hole 17, so that its upper end, after set-back, can swing out under centrifugal force, causing a. shoulder 21 to fall cut of line with the upper guide-hole 16, in order to prevent rebound.
