Abstract

1402878 Dishwashing machines HOOVER Ltd 9 July 1973 [14 July 1972] 33044/72 Heading A4F [Also in Division D1] A detergent dispenser in or for an automatic washing machine comprises a detergent compartment with, adjacent one end, a liquid outlet 33 and a liquid inlet nozzle 51 directed away from the one end and upwardly against a roof of the compartment. As shown three water inlets are provided connected by conduit 50 to respective electro-valves 12 and arranged to respectively supply water to two detergent compartments 23 and 24 and a rinse-aid chamber 26. The dispenser further comprises a slidable drawer 20 and an overflow outlet 37 spaced below the inlets 51 to prevent sucking back of water.
