Abstract

1292872 Dishwashing machines HOBART MFG CO 5 Jan 1970 [6 Jan 1969] 499/70 Heading A4F [Also in Division D1] A washing machine has a water supply line 35 with two fill valves 38, 40, a conduit 52 from between the two fill valves leading to a pressure actuated means 48 for operating a drain valve 45, the drain valve being normally shut, but being opened by water pressure when upstream fill valve 38 is opened and downstream fill valve 40 is shut, the machine also comprising a tank (11), Fig.1 (not shown) for receiving articles to be cleaned, means for circulating water in the machine and a drain line 46. As described a dishwashing machine has a motor (32), Fig.1 (not shown) driving a drain pump (30) and a water recirculating pump (25) which discharges water through rotating reaction arms (28) and draws it in through filter (26). Fill valves 38, 40 are preferably solenoid actuated.
