1402339 Track assemblies BECORIT GRUBENAUSBAU GmbH 22 Nov 1972 [1 Dec 1971] 53983/72 Heading B7L A track assembly for a tunnel railway system comprises linearly aligned track sections each comprising, a pair of rails 1 of channel section arranged with their open sides facing each other and connected by cross-members 2, with at one end of a section a pair of divergent brackets 6, and 7 welded thereto and at the other end a single central vertical bracket, each bracket having at its free end a flange 11 adapted to be connected to mounting pieces 10 either suspended from the tunnel roof or supported on the tunnel floor. Vehicle running wheels 3 engage the lower flanges of the rails on their inner surfaces and pressure wheels 4 engage the outer surfaces of these flanges. Stabilizer wheels 5 engage the rail webs.
