Abstract
1402310 Terminal blocks TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSON 8 Sept 1972 [10 Sept 1971] 41901/72 Heading H2E In a terminal block, an insulating body 1, of U-shaped channel cross-section, can serve also as a cable duct, and each terminal member 2 is lodged in a transverse groove or passage in the insulating body, emerging outwards as two soldering tags 3a, 3b, and these tags are arranged in a sloping formation of rows and columns, each group of six tags at one side being joined to corresponding tags, inverted in arrangement, at the other side. Wires (not shown) to be terminated at tags 3, Fig. 3, may be led from the duct channel through slots 6. The six terminal members of a group may be manufactured together, with bridging portions (4), Fig. 2 (not shown), uniting adjacent members, these portions (4) being punched or drilled away through holes (5) in the insulating base. The insulating body may be cast as a channel, or bent from thermoplastic flat sheet.
