Abstract

1401310 Feeding sheets KODAK Ltd 18 Sept 1973 [18 Sept 1972] 43178/72 Heading B8R Sheets A and B are fed up to a front stop 10 by endless belts 1 running between bars 2. When forwarding of the sheets is required (e.g. to form batch markers in a stack) the stop 10 is lowered and feed roller 9 is moved to engage the sheets between rollers 8 and 9. The point at which conveyer belts 1 pass beneath the bars 2 is adjustable relative to the stop 10 by movement of guide rollers 3 and 4 so that sheets of different sizes may be accommodated on the surface of bars 2 against the stop. The roller 9 and stop 10 are moved simultaneously by a common drive.
