Abstract

1400496 Walings J KRINGS 1 Aug 1972 [29 Sept 1971] 35777/72 Heading E1E A trench shoring panel comprises a rectangular frame 3 of channel-sectioned members, a pair of plates of sheet material mounted one on each side of the frame, and defining a space between the plates and within the frame, and spacer elements 6 within the space and extending between opposed frame members, the plates being connected to the frame and spacer elements solely by spot welds. The spacers are U-shaped but may alternatively have a Z or H profile. Two sides of the frame 3 are rigidly attached to slide bars 1, which are in use introduced into corresponding hollow posts.
