Abstract

1,118,992. Glass wall panels. SKLO-UNION NARODNI PODNIK. 10 Jan., 1966 [17 Feb., 1965], No. 1009/66. Heading E1B. A hollow glass wall panel comprises a pair of slotted frame members 6 of elastic material receiving the inturned longitudinal edges of spaced glass plates 1, the members 6 having wedges 8 inserted in dovetail grooves therein. The two ends of the panel may haye transverse frame members 10 shaped to seat between the ribbed glass plates 1. The panel may be transparent, translucent or opaque, and may incorporate, between its plates, lighting elements, insulating material or a circulating heating medium. The four frame members of the panel may be held together by a metal band 11. Electrical conductors may extend through the frame members.
