Abstract

1375229 Pallets MARKHAM (SHEFFIELD) Ltd 7 June 1973 [13 June 1972] 27605/72 Heading B8H A pallet comprises an upper and lower metal sheet 1 (only one shown) which are spaced apart by two pairs of rectangular or square metal tubes 2, 2 and 3, 3 disposed along the sides of the pallet and two further tubes 4, 4 extending across the space between the metal sheets 1, the sheets 1 being welded to the tubes 2, 3, 4 at the points 5. In a second embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown), only one tube (7) extends between the tubes (2) midway between the tubes (3), while in a third embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown), a pair of tubes (8) extend from the tube (7) to two opposite sides of the pallet, and in a fourth embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown), a pallet as in Fig. 1, has further tubes (9) extending perpendicularly to the pairs of tubes (3, 3 and 4, 4).
