Abstract

1400177 Actuator caps for pressurized dispensing containers PRECISION VALVE CORP 22 Jan 1974 [12 Feb 1973] 02970/74 Heading F1R A tamper-proof cover plate 12 is moulded integrally with a hinged actuator tab dispensing cap 10, being connected thereto by webs 40 which form a hinge so that after moulding the plate 12 may be pivoted whereby a hook 44 enters a hole 48 and is locked therein so that the plate covers the actuator tab 14. To operate the tab the edge 34 of the plate is raised to break the webs 40 after which the hook 44 may be removed from the hole 48. The socket may receive a button and is apertured at 28 for the button orifice. Alternatively the socket may receive a valve stem and be provided with a discharge orifice.
