1399483 Colour photographic material EASTMAN KODAK CO 7 June 1972 [7 June 1971 14 Oct 1971] 4755/75 Divided out of 1399482 Heading G2C Colour photographic material comprises at least two emulsion layers of low silver halide content, each layer containing or being adjacent to a colour coupler in an at lease 40% stoichiometric excess based on the developable silver in the layer. The photographic material may be used in the amplification/development process of Specification 1399482. There may be a coverage of up to 30 mg of developable silver per sq. ft. in each layer. The silver when fully exposed and developed may provide a density of less than 0.2. The emulsion may have a grain size of less than 0.8 micron. The couplers may form diffusible or non-diffusible dyes. The emulsions may be of direct positive or reversible negative type.
