Abstract

1323472 Photographic silver halide colour reversal material AGFA-GEVAERT AG 12 Aug 1970 [19 Aug 1969] 38777/70 Heading G2C A photographic colour reversal material comprises a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers each containing a colour coupler, and at least one additional layer of a spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion with a silver halide particle diameter of less than 1Á and which does not contain a colour coupler, said layer being arranged immediately adjacent to one of the emulsion layers which contain a colour coupler. Said additional layer is preferably arranged immediately above the uppermost emulsion layer which contains a yellow-forming colour coupler. The additional layer gives an improvement in colour brilliance which is presumed due to interlayer effects on the fog and exposure nuclei of the adjacent layer.
