Abstract

1395099 Surgeon's masks HOWORTH AIR CONDITIONING Ltd 12 Feb 1974 10280/73 Heading A5T [Also in Division A3] The air inside surgical protective clothing is drawn off through a tube 8, the air being drawn into a pipe 10 held near the mouth and holes in pipes 6 of a harness fitted on the body. The lower edge of the hood is weighed down or attached to the gown with e.g. Velcro tape (Registered Trade Mark) to minimise escape of contaminated air. Replacement air enters under the hem of the gown.
