Abstract
1394589 Fuel injection pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 3 Aug 1972 [4 Aug 1971] 36217/72 Heading F1A [Also in Division G3] In a rotary distributer type fuel injection pump in which the delivery is controlled electronically, a speed responsive governor 38 (see Division G3) connects the working chamber 28 to a relief passage 39 if a fault in the electronic control causes the engine to reach a predetermined maximum speed. The delivery is controlled by a rotatable throttle member 10 disposed in a bore 17 which intersects the fuel inlet passage 22, 24. The throttle 10 is turned by a magnet 1, the angular movement of which is determined by e.g. engine speed and temperature dependent electric signals supplied through pins 48 and contact springs 45 to coils 2. The magnet 1 drives the throttle 10 through a shaft 4 having a crank-pin 12 which slides in a slot 13 in the throttle member 10.
