1393705 Driving arrangements for electric motors FABRICA ESPANOLA MAGNETOS SA 8 May 1972 21461/72 Heading H2A The armature shaft of a permanent magnet electric motor (e.g. a windscreen wiper motor) carries a worm gear 12 and is mounted in a pair of journal bearings 10 disposed one on either side of the worm gear. Thrust bearings for the shaft are provided by an adjustably-positioned steel ball 13 at one end and a domed plastics stop 3 at the other.
