1393296 Correction material V BAROUH and R GLENN 14 Sept 1972 42620/72 Heading D2B A correction material comprises a light transmitting sheet having discrete spaced opaque coatings thereon, each of the coatings being transferable at least in part upon application of pressure to a receiving sheet e.g. typewritten sheet to mask errors thereon, and weakening means, e.g. score lines, perforations, located in the sheet between the coatings to facilitate separation thereof. The base sheet may be a lightweight paper, glassine, onion skin paper, or a translucent or transparent plastics film. The base sheet may be coated with a suitable adhesive to secure the coatings thereon, and the coatings may be coated with an adhesive pressure-release coating to ensure bonding of the coating to the receiving sheet when transferred thereto. A protective coating may be applied on top of the above coatings.
