Abstract
139,066. Holt, W., and Brolt, Ltd. April 24, 1919. Dynamos and motors, cooling and ventilating. -A fan h, mounted outside the casing a upon the. shaft f, co-operates with air outlets e in the casing to draw air through the machine, and delivers the air directly into the atmosphere. The fan may be carried by the driving-pulley g and may be protected by a shield d of wire-gauze or perforated metal, which revolves with it. The screened air inlets c are formed in a cover b at the opposite end of the machine.
