1390110 Electric couplings LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 19 Oct 1972 [23 Oct 1971] 48231/72 Heading H2E A connector for cables comprises two opposed U-shaped members 11, 21, the lower of which, 21, includes a comb structure 24 with slits of size corresponding with the thickness of the cable, these being laid in the member, and the upper of which 11 has a knife 14, which cuts off the unwanted cable ends as the two members are pressed into engagement. The slit edges penetrate the insulation so that the comb provides contact between adjacent cables. The two members are engaged by resilient parts 15, 25 which bear inter-engaging teeth Fig. 6. Insulating covers 12, 22 have tongues 13, 23, used when assembling the members. The knife 14 enters a slit on corrugation 26. Four cables may be interconnected.
