Abstract

1388560 Bale sledges FARMHAND (UK) Ltd 7 Nov 1972 [10 Nov 1971] 52174/71 Heading B5F A bale'sled 1 is movable transversely of the frame 2 by which it can be attached to a baler so that bales from a shoot B can be fed into each of the bags formed by strips 19. The sled has slider members 4 movable in a channel 2a of the frame 2. An hydraulic ram 7 and linkage 8 which may be connected to the frame 2 or to the baler reciprocates the sled. The movement of the sled may be automatically controlled. The sled has a tailgate 20 which can be opened by a pullcord.
