1307753 Hydraulic presses ROBERT BUERKLE & CO 2 July 1970 [8 July 1969] 32068/70 Heading B5F An hydraulic press for panel-shaped workpieces 4 is provided with means for ensuring parallel motion of a press member 5 comprising at least two toggle linkages 11, 12 connected between the member 5 and the press frame 2 and interconnected by at least one rigid guide rod 16. As shown, the press member 5 is moved downwardly by hydraulic cylinders 6 but it may be moved upwardly during closing. If two or more pairs of toggle linkages are provided they are arranged symmetrically around the centre of the press member 5.
