Abstract

1454159 Hydraulic presses SMG SUDDEUTSCHE MASCHINENBAU GmbH 14 March 1975 [14 March 1974] 10736/75 Heading B5E A welding press comprises a stationary head 1 mounted on at least two columns 3, a lifting table 2 guided by elongate tracks 9, 10 on the columns, and an hydraulic lifting cylinder 4 for each column. As shown there are four columns 3 each with two tracks 9, 10. At least four pairs of adjustable rollers (11, 12), 13, 14, Fig. 5 and Fig. 4 (not shown), engage the tracks on each column, the rollers being mounted on supports 15 fixed to the corners of the table. Mechanical stops (not shown) and rubber buffers 16 engage the supports at the extremities of table movement.
