Abstract

1,156,429. Tractor attachments for lifting bales. GEORGE SELLAR & SON Ltd. 6 June, 1968 [3 July, 1967], No. 30527/67. Heading B8H. A tractor attachment for lifting groups of bales is attached to a tractor three-point linkage by lugs 15 and has rearwardly extending tines 16 which are pushed under the bales and side frames 24 which are moved inwardly by rams 21 to grip the bales. The side frames are rigid with slide frames 18, 19 which slide inwardly on rollers. Springs 22 restore the side frames to their outermost positions.
