138,441. Brecknell, Munro, & Rogers, and Willis, A. M. Feb. 20, 1919. Suspending and supporting; insulators.-Span wires 3 are connected to the fittings used in the suspension of the overhead wires in electric traction systems by being doubled around wedges 4 in sockets 2 provided on forked shackles 1. Each shackle is connected to an insulating-block 5 which carries another shackle 7 at right-angles. These shackles are used with both straight-line hangers and pull-offs.
