Abstract

1384012 Bellows; cylinders ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 19 May 1972 [21 May 1971] 23592/72 Headings F2B and F2T A bellows comprises a large end portion 2 for attachment to a cylindrical body of a working cylinder, a small end portion 3 for emhracuig a piston-rod, a number of air holes 11 in a fold of the bellows, and a cover 14 which retains a dust filter 19 in contact with the air holes. As shown, the air holes 11 are provided in the fold adjacent the small end portion of the bellows and the cover is clipped to this fold by clips 16 on the end of ribs 17 which serve to space the cover from the fold to form axial air passages between the filter and the open end of the cover. In an alternative embodiment, the air holes are provided adjacent the other end of the bellows.
