Abstract

1383381 Change-speed gear KLOCKNERHUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AG 13 April 1972 [13 April 1971(2)] 17070/72 Heading F2D A change-speed gear for a tractor having an auxiliary group 2, ahead of (or behind) a main group 3, has first, second and third pairs 6, 17, 10 of wheels of which the second pair, 17, forms also, in common, a ratio stage of the main gear, and has a wheel 18 fast to an input shaft 11 of the main gear, said shaft 11 being clutchable at 16 to the main input shaft 1 (or, in Figs. 3 and 4, not shown, to the main output shaft (112 or 133)), or to a wheel 12 freely rotatable on the shaft 11, and the third pair 10 of wheels is arranged between the first and second pairs 6, 17, and composed of said wheel 12 and a wheel 13 which can be clutched by a pin-clutch 21 to a wheel 19 of the second pair 17. The input shaft 11 of the main gear 3 can thus be driven at three ratios and drives the final output 8 at four ratios, using clutches 36, 37 and wheel pairs 17, 27, 28, 29. The ratios provided by the common wheel pair 17 and the additional pair 10, in association with those of the main gear, overlap one another by approximately one ratio of the main group. Reverse is provided by a countershaft 24 with a wheel 25 meshing 9 and a wheel 26 slidable axially to mesh 18. A through power take-off shaft 39 is driven by a selective double input clutch, not shown. In Fig. 2, not shown, input and output shafts (40, 45, and 43) are coaxial and a power take-off shaft (81), extending through a hollow countershaft (49) of the main and auxiliary gear, is driven at two ratios by an input sleeve (78) concentric with the main input (4) and having two wheel pairs (79, 80) and a double clutch (88). In the auxiliary gear that wheel pair (55) common with the main gear has one wheel fast to the countershaft (49) and one (57) clutchable to either the main input (45) or output (43) by clutches (60, 74), one (74) of which, together with a similar clutch (74a) on the output shaft, provides the four ratios of the main gear. In Fig. 3, not shown, the auxiliary gear (90) follows the main (89), input and output shafts (91, 112) being again parallel, the main double clutches (103) being on the input shaft (91). A two-speed power take-off gear (128), driven by a shaft (127), extending through the input shaft (91), is arranged behind the gear. Fig. 4, not shown, is similar but has a front power take-off two speed gear (153) and coaxial input and output shafts (154, 133).
