1380435 Regulating I C engine fuel injection E M CROWE and R SALYER 26 May 1972 [7 June 1971] 25050/72 Heading F1B Apparatus for controlling the position of a shuttle stop 22 in the fuel distributing unit 20 of a turbo-charged engine 10 comprises an air motor 30 adapted to respond to the intake manifold pressure and operating a lever 26 with a profiled cam 27 adapted to abut the stop and a cam-shaft 23 adapted to be linked to the engine throttle and having an eccentric cam portion 24 providing the pivot of the lever. The.motor 30 may comprise a spring-biased piston attached to a rolling diaphragm.
