1378430 Vehicle seat headrests WILFRID OVERTON Ltd 19 Feb 1973 [25 Feb 1972] 8767/72 Heading A4J An adjustable vehicle headrest comprises channel section members 4 secured to the headrest to form a vertical guide in which spaced pillars 1 secured to the backrest are received, each pillar I being locked in one of three positions relative to its respective guide by the engagement of a leaf spring 5 on the guide with the upper, centre or lower parts of a block 7 secured to the pillar. Movement of the headrest relative to the backrest is limited by the engagement of a screw 10 on the headrest with a slot 11 in the pillar. The block 7 may be omitted and recesses for engagement of the leaf spring may be formed directly on the pillar.
