Abstract

1377997 Pressurized dispensing containers L'OREAL 25 Nov 1971 [27 Nov 1970] 54859/71 Heading F1R A cap for actuating the valve of a pressurized dispensing container and dispensing the contents within an area defined by the rim 10 of the cap, comprises a skirt 6 slidable on the container, a wall 7 intermediate the ends of the cap and having a duct 8 discharging at the upper surface of the wall and engageable with the discharge stem of a container, and means to cause the discharge to be spread over the area defined by the rim. As shown the means comprises plate 11, grooved on its upper and lower surfaces and of less diameter than the inner diameter of the cap. In another embodiment a headed member in the wall duct causes the discharge to flow outwardly over the wall surface.
