Abstract

1376282 Reading lamp HAPPICH GmbH Gebr 7 Feb 1973 [26 Feb 1972] 5977/73 Heading F4R A reading lamp for use in a bus or an aircraft has a part-spherical shell 1 with a lens 2 in it, the shell being supported by a bearing ring 3 so as to allow the shell to be tilted in any direction. The reflector 5 is held in place by a shell ring 8 which is partly spherical and whose centre is located at the same point as that of the shell 1. A plate 9 fastened to a plate 4 has a partspherical bearing 14 which holds the shell ring 8 in place. Holes 11 in the plate 9 allow free circulation of cooling air in the lamp. An arm 13 attached to the ring 8 prevents the holder 12 from rotating about a vertical axis.
