Abstract

1375101 Photographic silver halide materials EASTMAN KODAK CO 6 Jan 1972 [11 Jan 1971] 609/72 Heading G2C A photographic silver halide material in which the silver halide comprises at least 50 mole per cent chloride, contains in the same or separate layers a tetrazaindene (e.g. 4-hydroxy-6-methyl- 1:3:3a:7-tetrazaindene) and a sulphocatechol (e.g. salts of 3:5-disulphocatechol and 4-sulphocatechol). A large number of tetrazaindenes is specified. The tetrazaindene and sulphocatechol are preferably both in the emulsion layer. The material is suitable for X-rays and for rapid processing.
