Abstract

137,125. Lanchester, F. W. Jan. 16, 1919. Hydraulic and like springs.- Relates to a replenisher or pump, for vehicle springs, of the kind described in Specification 121,767, and consists in enclosing the pump inside an external reservoir which contains any fluid leaking through the joints of the pump. The reservoir 1 is co-axial with the pump 3, having a base 2 threaded to receive the reservoir, which may serve to attach the front mud-guards, the filler-cap 7 being above the guards. A slight permanent leak may be provided in the top of the pump to allow the escape of any trapped air.
