1371072 Self-wringing mops POPEIL BROS Inc. 8 Oct 1971 [26 Feb 1971] 46973/71 Heading A4F A mop head, for use with a self-wringing mop having a cantilever wringer shaft 25, comprises a bore for receiving the shaft 25, a spool 36 for detachable connection to one end of the shaft 25 and for rotation therewith for wringing the mop head 50, an anchor spool 31 Fig. 4 (not shown) for mounting on the wringer shaft support, and a porous cloth sleeve 40 encasing the rectangular sponge mop head 50, at least one of the sleeve ends being folded against one of the spools (31), 36 and clamped between a securing ring 61 Fig. 21 (not shown) or 62 within the head 50 and the spool (31) or 36, by circumferentially spaced teeth (33) or 49 on the spool (31) or 36 (cooperating with radially projecting ribs (67) or 69 on the ring (61) or 62.
