Abstract
1367818 Valves DEFENCE MINISTRY OF FINDLAND 16 Oct 1972 [15 Oct 1971] 47554/72 Heading F2V [Also in Division H1] Valve 7 located at the junction of ducts 15, 16 supplying main electrolyte and initiating electrolyte respectively to a reserve cell (see Division H1) comprises member 19 slidable within housing 18, the pressure of initiating electrolyte driving it to the position shown wherein the initiating electrolyte passes via duct 17 to the cell and air contained in the main electrolyte duct is vented through duct 20 and aperture 21. When the air is exhausted, the resistance of duct 20 and aperture 21 to liquid flow causes member 19 to be forced to the right (Fig. 3, not shown) by the pressure of the main electrolyte which can now pass to the cell through duct 17, and aperture 21 and duct 16 are closed.
