Abstract
1275780 Buoyancy control system WIREMOLD CO 10 Oct 1969 [11 Oct 1968 2 Sept 1969] 49777/69 Heading B7M In a buoyancy control tank 12 of fixed volume the interior of the tank is maintained within a predetermined pressure range above the underwater ambient pressure by air from compressed air source 10 passed through pressure reducing valves 15, 20 and 28. Water is selectively introduced into the tank by pump 50, through conduits 60, 65 and is selectively discharged from the tank by stop cock 74. In underwater activity the wearer of the embodiment shown presses button 31 to acquire neutral or slightly negative buoyancy and opens stop cock 74 to increase his buoyancy.
